What Data We Collect

None. BlurScreen does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All data stays on your device.

How BlurScreen Works

BlurScreen operates entirely within your browser. It applies CSS blur effects to webpage elements you select. All settings (blur preferences, usage count) are stored locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local.

Data Storage

• Blur settings: Stored locally per website URL in chrome.storage.local. Never transmitted externally.
• Usage count: A simple counter stored locally to manage free trial limits.
• Payment status: Managed by ExtensionPay. We do not store or process payment information directly.

Third-Party Services

ExtensionPay: Used solely for processing one-time payments. ExtensionPay handles payment through Stripe. We do not have access to your credit card information. See ExtensionPay's Privacy Policy.

Permissions

BlurScreen requires the storage permission to save your blur preferences locally. The extension runs on all URLs to enable blurring on any webpage you visit. No data from these pages is collected or transmitted.

No Tracking

BlurScreen contains no analytics, no telemetry, no cookies, and no tracking scripts.
